The hotel is very welcoming. It has six comfortable bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, comfy beds and internet throughout. Breakfast is a grab and go hamper left in your room: pastries, biscuits, jam, chocolate and orange juice.
Guests are very welcome to make use of the safe and secure outdoor bike storage area at the hotel. The Queen’s Head has everything you need for a restful stay in Berwick.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
Our rooms have been recently refurbished to meet our guests’ high standards, while being sympathetic to the building’s Grade II listed status; we have created a contemporary feel while maintaining the characteristics of a period building.
The beds have pocket-sprung mattresses and are dressed in quality matching bedding, and the pillows are hypo-allergenic. Your room has a thermostat so you can feel as comfortable as if you were at home, and a housekeeper maintains the high standards of your room with daily care and attention to detail.
Bathrooms are modern and include a powerful shower, heated towel rails, luxury large bath sheets and complimentary toiletries. Rooms have tea and coffee facilities, Freeview TV, DVDs on request and free WiFi.

How does self check-in work?
We email you instructions before you arrive. Use the code at the front door, and your room key is in the key safe outside your room. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 10am; please leave the key in the room when you go. If you have any issues, call 01289 307852.
Is breakfast included?
Yes. Breakfast is a grab and go hamper left in your room: pastries, biscuits, jam, chocolate and orange juice. There is no breakfast service downstairs.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs are welcome at £20 per dog per stay. Dogs can stay in any of our rooms.
Is there parking?
There is a car park nearby. Northumberland parking discs cost £1 from the hotel, local shops or the machines, and are used in every car park in the county. For safety, e-bikes and e-scooters cannot be charged anywhere inside the hotel.
Can I store a bike?
Yes, there is a safe and secure outdoor bike storage area at the hotel.
Can you host a function?

What is the difference between the rates?
The advance purchase rate is cheaper but cannot be cancelled or transferred. The standard rate is flexible: you can cancel up to three days before arrival, after which it is non-refundable.
